Home Automation

 

Home automation refers to the automatic and electronic control of household features, activity, and appliances. Various control systems are utilized in this residential extension of building automation.

Structured Wiring

 

Structured wiring is a general term that refers to a whole-house network of audio, video, data, telephone, television, home automation or security signals.

Security/Fire

 

A security alarm is a system designed to detect intrusion – unauthorized entry – into a building or area. Security alarms are used in residential, commercial, industrial, and military properties for protection against burglary or property damage, as well as personal protection against intruders.A fire alarm system is a set of electric/electronic devices/equipment working together to detect and alert people through visual and audio appliances when smoke/fire is present.

Home Theatre

 

A home theatre is a theatre built in a home, designed to mimic (or exceed) commercial theatre performance and feeling, also known as a home cinema. Today, home cinema implies a real "cinema experience" at a private home.

Home Networking

 

A home network is a group of devices – such as computers, game systems, printers, and mobile devices – that connect to the Internet and each other. Home networks connect in two ways: A wired network, which connects devices like printers and scanners with cables.

Central Vacuum

 

A central vacuum cleaner is a type of vacuum cleaner appliance, installed into a building as a semi-permanent fixture. Central vacuum systems are designed to remove dirt and debris from homes and buildings, sending dirt particles through tubing installed inside the walls to a collection container in a remote utility space. The power unit is a permanent fixture, typically installed in a basement, garage, or storage room, along with the collection container. Inlets are installed in walls throughout the building that attach to power hoses and other central vacuum accessories to remove dust, particles, and small debris from interior rooms. Most power hoses typically have a power switch located on the handle.

Distributed Audio

 

Distributed audio is a professionally installed system that allows occupants to play and control audio from a central source in at least three rooms in the home The system should include at a minimum a distribution amplifier, room controls and in-wall, on-wall or in-ceiling speakers.

Intercom

 

An intercom system is a stand-alone voice communications system for use within homes, a building or small collection of buildings, functioning independently of the public telephone network; intercoms are generally mounted permanently.
